During the day, I’m the Director of Platform at NextView Ventures. I lead strategic initiatives designed to help support NextView portfolio companies, as well as the broader startup community.
Previously, I helped lead HubSpot's content team. In my four years at the company, I built the strategy and team responsible for growing some of HubSpot's established and emerging content channels, including their Marketing blog, podcast, and Medium publication. And before that, I was a jack-of-all-trades marketing manager at Shareaholic.
Some of my favorite projects have included:
- A raw and inspirational podcast episode with Patagonia's VP of Environmental Affairs, Rick Ridgeway. It quickly became one of the top episodes on the show so far.
- A 6-month long experiment on the quality vs. quantity debate (and this accompanying podcast). Changes to our editorial strategy based on this experiment increased traffic by 30% in 7 months.
