Quarantine Walk 4.5.20

Long, meandering walks have been my favorite way to handle all that's unfolded in the past month.

Evanston is a gorgeous, quirky town to explore. One day the waves on Lake Michigan are frenetic, the next, still as glass. Giant, manicured mansions sit around the corner from a decrepit frat house. Normally at this time of year, it's teeming with students and weekends are spent adventuring from brunch to drinks to dinner and beyond in downtown Chicago. Now, a sharp intake of fresh, 30-degree air is a joy.

I'm hoping to use these regular walks to see different sides of the town we've lived in for two years, and capture what it's like living and exploring here in this crazy time.
